Prince Sultan Military Medical City in Riyadh with a capacity of nine hundred and twenty beds. It was officially opened by King Khalid bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, may God have mercy on him on 12 Muharram 1399 H with capacity of 385 beds. It provides services for acute cases, it includes three hospitals, as well as Dispensaries and an initial health centers. It provides services to inpatients in 23 medical and surgical specialties, and most prominent of these disciplines cardiac, oncology, neurology, urology, hematology and bone marrow transplant, and works at the Prince Sultan Military Medical City in Riyadh about 7179 employees from various nationalities.
Prince Sultan Military Medical City consists of three hospitals:
- Al Kharj Military Industries Corporation Hospital was Opened by King Abdulaziz Al Saud at the end of 1979 with 60 beds and working in it 285 employees.
- King Abdulaziz Military Academy was opened at the end of 1983 with 34 beds, it provides medical care for the family and society, dental treatment, and ambulance services and emergency over 24 hours for those who enjoy a treatment entitlement.
- Prince Sultan Center for Cardiovascular: provides services to heart patients only.
