King Abdulaziz University Hospital located in Jeddah
in Saudi Arabia. It was opened in 1396 H with capacity of 200 beds. In 1417, the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz opened the new building of the hospital to the public. The surface area of the university hospital is about 118,000 square meters which makes it one of the largest hospitals in the region, it contains 4,788 rooms including 132 classrooms with 132 parking lots. The total bed capacity of the hospital is 845 beds with a potential to receive more than 1,000 patients in the events of disasters and emergencies. The medical services in the hospital cover all clinical specialties including all clinical subspecialties. The supporting medical units also provide the services of lithotripsy, endoscopy and renal dialysis including pediatric dialysis as a unique center in the city of Jeddah that provides this service. The hospital also contains state of the art radiological, laboratory and pharmaceutical services. It includes the latest medical technology and healthcare.
