Jizan Regional Airport (King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Airport) Jazan
Jizan Regional Airport (also known as King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Airport) is a regional airport serving the Jazan region, it was opened in 1981, with an area about 4.7 km. The General Authority of Civil Aviation has implemented a new terminal at the airport for travel and international arrival on an area of 3650 square meters. It includes two counters for passports, a counter for customs, and a counter for end travel procedures, and there is an investment area with an area of 160 meter and a business lounge. The General Authority of Civil Aviation granted the international operation at the airport to Nesma Airlines, Air Arabia and Flydubai with a daily flight rate.Construction work at the new King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Airport has begun in a completely new location overlooking the Red Sea. The new airport consists of three floors including one floor for departure, one floor for arrival and one for baggage collection. The new airport is designed to meet the highest international standards for modern airport construction and will include free markets, restaurants and international cafes. The new airport is also designed to accommodate large-scale planes.
