University of Dammam (The new name is Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University) located in King Faisal Rd, As Saif, Dammam. it is a public university, it was founded in 1975. It started with two colleges, Medicine and Architecture/Planning, Other colleges followed: Applied Medical Sciences 1995, Dentistry 2001, Applied Studies and Community Services 2003 and Nursing, now the university includes 21 colleges spread throughout the Eastern Province and a student population of over 45,000.
