Ministry Of Economy and Planning located in Riyadh. It was established in 1390 H One of the main tasks of the Ministry is distribution of resources and directing them for development and infrastructure and follow the growth of the Saudi economy, export and import and set the development plans in line with the vision of the Saudi decision-makers, and the preparation of an economic report periodically about the Kingdom, and the preparation of five-year development plans of the Kingdom, and estimate the total amount required for the implementation of development plans, and perform the Economic Studies assigned to it from different state institutions, and collect, analysis and dissemination of statistical data and information in various social, economic and demographic fields, and to assist other government agencies matters related to the planning and statistics. The Ministry is drafting and implementation of national economic policies and implementing programs that will serve achieving national priorities and objectives, and contribute to building economic partnerships with countries and regional and international institutions and international organizations. The Ministry of Economy and Planning continues its efforts to align all government agencies’ work in a coordinated manner in order to achieve the priorities of policy makers, and ultimately, ensure the country’s sustained socioeconomic development.This ministry aims to leadership and effectiveness in planning and developing economic and development programs, enhancing partnerships with related parties, enabling public entities in the field of planning and implementation, and corporate excellence.
