King Saud Medical City is one of the largest general hospitals, located in Imam Abdulaziz bin Muhammad bin Saud Road, Ulaishah District, Riyadh. King Saud Medical City consists of three hospitals including Obstetrics and Gynaecology Hospital, Pediatric Hospital, King Fahd Kidney Center, Dental Center, Research Center. It has 1500 beds of which 180 beds are in the intensive-care unit beds. King Saud Medical City was established in 1956 and is included in this time 450 beds and consists of the following departments:
General Surgery Department, including Ortho - Medicine.
Children - Laboratory - Pharmacy - Radiology - Vaccination.
It was previously known as King Saud Hospital, later on, it became Riyadh Central Hospital and then Riyadh Medical Complex (Al-Shemaysi) and Now King Saud Medical City.
